fuji-san from below

It is always a special feeling to ride the Shinkansen bullet train. It is quiet, even economy seats have so much leg room that it feels luxurious, I feel easy to relax while looking out the window, passing through towns, seeing the countryside sweep by.

Just a few months ago I made a post about Fuji-san, Mount Fuji, seen from above. The majestic mountain seen from an airplane is a very special view that I look forward to whenever we have had a chance to fly from Tokyo. We always choose seats to be on the right side of the airplane in order to be able to see the mountain, hoping for clear skies on the day.

Riding on the Shinkansen offers an equally compelling view of Mount Fuji, so I could not refrain myself from sharing a photo of Fuji-san seen from the train. Spring is here so soon the snow from the top will be gone, and spring time photos is where I will pick up the thread next time.
